Porsche Taycan

The first European response to Tesla Model S.
Here's the Porsche Titan, a four-door sports car fitted with a 761 hp electric motor through the overboost, as well as 1050 Nm of torque, Porsche today revealed its first fully electric sports car in front of the public in a stunning world premiere held on three continents at the same time.

Oliver Bloom, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG said, Who opened the world premiere in Berlin: “The Taycan car represents a link between our past and our future,That mark that has long admired and dazzled many people from all over the world for the past 70 years, He added: "And now Porsche is witnessing the beginning of a new era for it."

The saloon four-door sports car is a unique model and provides the usual Porsche performance with integrated communications suitable for daily use. At the same time, the highly advanced production methods and equipment of the Taikan car set new standards for sustainability and digital technologies.

Michael Steiner, member of the Porsche AG Board of Directors for Research and Development commented: “We promised to introduce a Porsche worthy of the era of electric cars, an amazing sports car, not only in terms of the technologies used and the dynamics of driving, but also arouse enthusiasm for many people all over the world, such as Its former legendary style. Today we keep this promise. ”
The models will be the first models to be introduced in the new category. The two models are equipped with the latest technology that comes within the Porsche electric performance system, and they are among the most powerful models in the current range of sports car manufacturers And less powerful models will follow this SUV this year. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will be the first models to be added to the electric models category. It is reported that by 2022, Porsche will have invested more than 6 billion euros in electric cars.

The top-class turbo S in the Taycan generates more superior power up to 761 hp (560 kW) with starting control technology, while the Taycan turbo version generates up to 680 hp (500 kW), Taycan Turbo S speeding up from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,8 seconds, while Tycan Turbo speeding up from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,2 seconds, The Turbo S is distinguished by its ability to travel a distance of 412 km per shipment, while the Taycan Turbo per car cuts a distance of 450 km (according to the global standard standards for light cars in both cases). The top speed of two SUVs is 260 km / h.

The Taycan car is the first car with an 800-volt system instead of the usual 400-volt system in electric cars, giving Taycan drivers a special advantage on the road; in five minutes, the battery can be recharged with enough energy to travel a distance of 100 Kilometers (according to the International Standard Light Car Test) using direct current from a high-power charging network.

The battery takes 22.5 minutes to reach 5 to 80 percent charging in ideal charging conditions, and the maximum charging capacity reaches 270 kW. The total capacity of the high-performance Porsche battery is 93.4 kWh. Taycan drivers can charge their cars up to 11 kW ac in their homes.

The Taycan turbo and turbo S come with two highly efficient electric motors, one on the front axle and the other on the rear axle, which gives the car a four-wheel drive. High performance, efficient synchronous devices enhance single-truck mileage and continuous driving ability.

The electric motor, transmission and impulse-controlled transformer are also integrated into the integrated drive unit. These units have the highest energy density (kilowatts per liter of vehicle space) among all-electric motors available on the market today.

The 10.9-inch infotainment system display has been combined with the passenger seat display that comes as an optional line-up to become more like a black glass panel.

All user interfaces in the Taycan have been redesigned. The number of traditional controls such as keys and buttons has also been greatly reduced, and has been replaced by intuitive and easy-to-use intelligent control systems - using touch operation or voice control function, which response to “Hey Porsche”, The Taycan is the first Porsche to have a leather-free interior; all interior fittings are made from innovative recycled materials, highlighting the concept of sustainability for the electric car.

The "foot space" - empty spaces in the legroom at the rear of the vehicle - allows passengers in the back to sit comfortably and ensures the low height of the car typical of sports cars. The vehicle is available in two luggage compartments: the front luggage compartment capacity is 81 liters, while the rear cargo compartment volume is 366 liters.
