2021 Toyota Crown kluger, luxury SUV version of Highlander 2021

After leaked photos of it on the Internet, an all-new Toyota Crown SUV officially appeared at the Shanghai Motor Show 2021.

As many of you know, most car companies focus on the production of new crossover vehicles and SUVs, due to the increased demand in the market for this category, and in contrast, sedans are witnessing a decrease in the level of global sales in favor of an increase in the demand for the multi-use category that is higher than the ground.

The increase in demand for the SUV category has caused Toyota to launch a more practical, ground-breaking version of the Toyota Crown sedan.

A new Toyota Crown SUV based on the same chassis as its sister Toyota Highlander 2021 with its fourth and new generation, which is larger than the Toyota RAV4 model 2021.

The Toyota Crown is a new, more luxurious SUV than a new Highlander, and it comes with a front grille with a Crown logo centered, and it benefits from the cooperation between Toyota of Japan and the Chinese company JAC with the Chinese FAW Group.

The new car we are talking about in this news represents a new SUV category with 3 rows of passenger seats, and it comes with tires measuring 18 inches, and it is expected to weigh less than 2,000 kilograms.

Toyota has kept the technical specifications of the soaring Crown, the Earth, a secret for the time being, with only mentioning that it relies on a hybrid mechanical system that it derives from a new Highlander Hybrid.

It combines the work of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors, to produce 240 horsepower from the work of the three engines, and rely on a 4-wheel drive system, and have a CVT gear.

When the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the introduction of this SUV, the accompanying spec sheet showed that it was slightly longer than the specification supposed to be available in the American version of the new Toyota Crown SUV, while having the same width and wheelbase.
